Managing director, Ron McPhail, has an extensive background in agriculture and management. This experience includes practical farming and 22 years as a farm consultant and manager of a consultancy business for the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF). Since 1992 he has managed his own company specialising in agricultural, technical and business tours.

In recent years the company has expanded to include natural and cultural heritage tours. Ron is a registered farm management consultant and with his wife also farms deer near Palmerston North.
